It is made by heating butter until the milk solids separate from the fat, which is then strained to create a golden, flavorful liquid. Ghee has a rich, nutty flavor and a high smoke point, making it a popular cooking oil. Comprised of full spectrum short-, medium-, and long-chain fatty acids, Ghee contains Omega 3 and Omega 9 essential fatty acids along with vitamins A, D, E and K. Ghee has one of the highest flash points (485F) and it is simply the best choice for high temperature cooking.
