Maxi K Forte - Vitamin K2 360Mcg - 30 Capsules: Green Made Maxi K contains 180 micrograms of Vitamin K2 (MK-7) and 1400 international units of Vitamin D3, both of which are recognized to be necessary for adequate calcium absorption. Furthermore, recent study indicates that Vitamin K-dependent proteins are responsible for maintaining healthy tissues.
MK-7 stimulates osteocalcin, a protein that binds calcium to the mineral matrix in the bones, so strengthening them. MK-7 also enhances the function of osteoblasts, the bone-building cells, when combined with Vitamin D.
Vitamin K2 activates Matrix Gla Protein (MGP), the most powerful inhibitor of arterial calcification, in the bloodstream, lowering the risk of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease.
